Please be advised of an upcoming temporary closure of the West Ashley Greenway associated with the City of Charleston’s Windermere Neighborhood Drainage Improvements Project.

Closure Details

• Start Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2026
• Location: The West Ashley Greenway between Campbell Drive and Wesley Drive

Construction Schedule & Areas

• June – July 31, 2026: Active construction along Culbertson Drive and at the intersection of Culbertson Drive and Chadwick Drive
• Following July 31, construction will continue eastward along the Greenway through fall 2026

Detour Routes (see attached)

• Option A: Beverly Road
• Option B: Windermere Boulevard

The closure is necessary to safely complete critical drainage infrastructure improvements and associated utility relocations that will reduce flooding impacts in the Windermere neighborhood.
